I once caught a Ho-oh with pokeball after I ran out of all my ultraballs, I was getting ready to reset and I was like wth xD

in blue a red versions (the very firts poke games:D). if you pressed B button in the moment the trowed pokeball opens, it increased the cathching rate a lot. and i dont now if that still works, but in the next gens games, i used that same move, and i have capture legendaries still with more than 30% of HP, with just 2 or max 3 balls (ultra, dark)

Speaking of balls, Dive balls have been totally useless after the HM dive was removed.

I was catching Mewtwo when my friend and I was going to ReniFest and he was all, "Stop pressing buttons, it works better." I threw my Dusk Ball and pressed nothing.. It worked. FML.
