and yeah, it's really great! I think paint is stupidly restricting for not letting you use .png, but if you don't use paint then... yeah, just don't put the bg and save it as a .png... I've never really understood why people use Emerald sprites, but hey, they still look great regardless.

you should download gimp~ it's a really great program

it may be a little harder than paint, but it's heaven. then you can have transparent BGs ^-^ if you need any help with gimp, just ask and i'll come to your aid ^.~

gimp is pretty good, but i still like paint........

trust me, one you get used to gimp, you wont be able to stand paint XD
