In the past few days, I've had 3-4 posts deleted per day without notification. I checked my account preferences to see if I had turned it off, but being notified of post deletion isn't even an option. I don't understand it when my post count and forum points go down for no reason. Maybe I'm going crazy, but I just want to know why this is happening.

Request: Notification when a mod deletes my posts AND the reason for deleting my posts.

o.O dont look at me. i have no idea. if i delete posts, it's because somebody accidentally double posted the same thing or if they posted something really inappropriate or flaming. and a lot of the times i say that - OH GOD! THE LAVENDER TOWN THEME! O_O- i deleted the post

*is listening to a R/B/Y soundtrack*

9/10 times its not your posts we delete its a topic that you posted in that gets deleted due to something affecting it. I'm sure your not the only person that loses posts, I lose posts as well.

He is correct. If a topic gets deleted all the members who posted there will lose the posts they got on that topic. So it does affect everyone on the thread.

Yeah, I noticed my points and post count moving a little bit when topics get deleted too. 'Tis all it is.

Your points shouldn't be going down THAT drastically. (like 10-20 per day would be ridiculous) As the others have said, it's only during the following occasions:

- double posts (I usually combine these to a single post, that has an edit)

- new topics that have already been made before

- a post that is TOTALLY irrelevant and really doesn't seem to fit in any category x_x this is more rare.

- Sometimes just posting 'lol' or 'Very Happy ' will get deleted since it's kinda spammish.

I haven't been here the past 2 weeks so I can't say what exactly has been deleted for you during that time. Hope this clears up some confusion!

Okay but a while back on Griffin's Forum Game thingo I posted an idea for a new forum game idea we could do, as members probs can't host, and so someone said to just offer the idea. I did so, and it was a long post and it took a bit of thought to come up with the concept of this game. Nobody posted on the thread for a period of time, and when I went to check it (as someone had posted on it) I found that my post had been deleted.

How long was it not active for? Perhaps griffinheart just saw it was a dead topic and deleted it since there was no interest.

If you want to start a forum game, just start one. No need to do a 'feeler' post first. It'll either catch on or it wont ^_^ (and I've had my share of both...lol)
