Favorite Pokémon Region?

If you forgot which regions are which, here they are for ya:

Kanto - カントー地方
Red and Blue, later seen in Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, FireRed, LeafGreen, HeartGold, and SoulSilver.

Johto - ジョウト地方
the second generation of Pokémon video games, Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal take place there, as do their remakes, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. The third, fourth, and fifth seasons of the anime are also set there

Hoenn - ホウエン地方
Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.

Sinnoh - シンオウ地方
Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. First region to feature a snowy area.

I'm not going to include the region for Black and white...since we haven't really gotten a chance to play in it yet!

Johto all the way baby!

I have to say Hoenn. It was my gateway generation and I just loved the layout of everything.

Same, Hoenn has many of the best pokemon (in design and in battles) and the story of the games was awesome

Hoenn cause many unique and cool pokemon came from it but the downside of it is u can only catch MOST of the strong pokemon at the mid-end of the game..but still..

Kanto for me. What can I say, I grew up with yellow version and blue version, and the countless hours I spent trying to find missingno really made an impression on me. Also, it gave us marowak. We could all use a little more marowak.

I have to say Johto! It was the region which managed to surpass my second favourite region, Kanto.

The only one to surpass it as well. <3

Has to be Kanto, the classics were the best and my favorite game as a child (and now)

tough between hoenn and sinnoh....


i liked hoenn's story better but sinnoh had cooler gym leaders :]

Pokemon Emerald was the only Pokemon game I could play for a while, so Hoenn for me.

the same, it makes me win my first tough opponent, it's easy for newbies.

Kanto is my choice....cant beat the origional set of pokemon....just cant

hoenn in my opinion

the japs started to go serious on making new pokemon when this region came, and i was surprised about the new lay outs.

Hoenn because they had many new pokemon and got us to interact with nature (tree houses, floodings, droughts (sp) diving, etc) so Hoenn for me

Hoenn was so epic. I wish I could re-experience it.

I've always been one for Kanto....
