Art Contest #8: A Dream League Building THE WINNER IS!!

Ok, guys and girls, this is the February contest and we need a lot of people involved for this one. This will be a very good contest because Clover is going to put the winner’s project in her village, plus will be fully credited with a link to their site on www.sweetcharm.net So obviously it’s a building of some kind. Well since we are having tryouts for people to become an Elite 5, we need to have a place to put them, so thanks to the brainstorming of our wonder staff =P, we decided to let the members make the building for us, with a couple of rules of course, so February’s contest is…



Now, before we get to the ribbons, we'll have to do if differently this time, if we have no more than 5 people join, then only the first place ribbon will be given out. Everything else will stay the same, 1st 2nd and 3rd place will still get there forum points and myAdopts =3. So here are the prizes.

1st Place Dx
- Building gets featured on site.
- Forum Points! (good for entering future raffles, and such)

Ok I was talking to the wonderful admin xD about the rules and since it will be featured in the town, she gave me back this list:

RULES:
Max Dimensions: 250x200 pixels. (only make it bigger if it really messes up your design)
Must be map sprites from Pokémon games! If you haven't been to my site yet, I only use sprites from Pokémon games. (Preferably the more recent games)
Must be transparent (if you don't have a program to make the image transparent, at least make the border around the building white)
Must be saved as a .PNG or .GIF - PLEASE don't save your precious work as a jpeg...it makes the image blurry and unusable

Here are some tips that might help you out

TIPS:
- Feel free to pixel the building from scratch as well. I always find it helps to use some building as a base though, as the main structure is already completed.
- If you only want to show the bottom part of the building, such as the first entrance floor of a tower, that's fine too.
- If you do show the entire building, you might think about somehow making 5 'sections' or corridors for each Elite 5 member. Up to you though!

Now if you don’t know a good place to get sprites here are a few:

www.spriters-resource.com <~ a really great source for game sprites!

Please don't feel too limited by the guidelines here we want you to make the best one that you can because even if you are not the winner, yours might be featured on the site as well. Here’s a quote that Clover said “If there building sprite comes out really awesome, I might ask them if it's alright to use it in another section of my site.”

The deadline has not been decided yet, this might take a while for some people to do. Even though a deadline hasn’t been set, try not to do it to late, as I said before it might take longer than you think. I’ll post the deadline at another time.
