Movie vs. Anime show

Haven't you ever noticed how ash goes on all of these adventures in movies but in the anime he completely forgets everything as if it never happened. I think it's a little weird but I guess it's because it's easier to keep movies seprate from TV but I dunno. What do you think?

He forgets everything? Like what exactly? o3o Like past lessons that he could apply in another situation to help keep himself out of trouble?


Maybe he has memory retention issues due to his traumatic event on the first espisode

yep, he totally forgets. and he also forgets about all his other badges and adventured in the other regions -_-

Also, I know the regions are supposed to be different in the show, but it seems like they just ignore the past generation pokemon sometimes...

Yeah, I was thinking of that idea with my other post.

It's really obscure, but there are actually many instances where the show supports the theory.

The end gets a little weird and fan-ficcy because they start talking about him 'waking up' from the coma. I like it up until that part though.

Its very difficult to choose in both of them.
I like anime shows as well as movies also,
But I only like to watch anime movies like Megamind, Alpha and Omega, How TO Train Your Dragon
