B&W- Kanto Starter Giveaway/ The Dream World

A new book coming out on September 10th in Japan, containing articles and interviews about Pokémon Black and White in addition to an introduction to various game elements is going to include some passwords for the Pokémon Global Link's Dream World which will allow you to transfer and capture a Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle from the Dream World into your Black and/or White games. Like other Dream World Pokémon, these starters have alternate abilities to normal. I'll provide more details when they are out.

The Dream World is a new aspect of the games, shown part of a website called the Pokémon Global Link. The Dream World is accessed by going to the bed in Mokama's house in Sanyou City. From here, you use the Dream Smoke obtained by Musharna and sync your game up to your Pokémon Global Link account.

Pokémon Play

In the Dream World you will find Pokémon that are exclusive to older games, rather than Isshu. Once you befriend these Pokémon they will appear in various areas of Isshu for you to capture.

The Pokémon found here do not have abilities such as those that you would transfer over from D/P/Pl/HG/SS. For example, a Vaporeon with Hydration and a Glaceon with Ice Body could be found here.

Berry Growing

Berries cannot be found in the region of Isshu, so they must be grown, like in previous games, but in the Dream World. Once they have grown, you can transfer them back to the real world.

Items

In addition to berries, Items can be found in the Dream World. You can also find a shelf in the Dream World to trade items with friends. And at any point you can resync and go find the items that you found in the Dream World.

House Decoration

The final thing to do in the Dream World is decorate your house. This house is on a floating island and you can decorate it any way you please with what decorations you have. In addition to decorating, you can link up with friend's houses and let your Pokemon play together. THIS CONNECTION IS REQUIRED FOR PEOPLE TO SEE WHAT ITEMS YOU HAVE ON YOUR SHELF FOR TRADE!

I like the idea, since we can't obtain regular pokemon from previous generations in the game, we can get zem in the dream world, though some parts of it are confusing. Lucky little Japanese kids ;-;

The Dream World is very...... intriguing. Can't wait.

Yay! then we can do all sorts of cool trades straight from Black and white without needing to catch the pokemon in GBA games, migrate to SS or HG then trade to Black and White! long process.
