Rate my E4 triumph team.

Here's my team to beat the elite four. Levels and moves vary but I will give a full list once I'm ready! (Currently at Victory Road..Post will be edited.)

I chose Infernape.

Gardevoir
Gastrodon
Roserade
Infernape
Snorlax
Staraptor

I personally dislike Gastrodon. I usually get a Buizel instead. <3

But, the rest of the team seems like it could take on the Elite 4 easily. You could also swap Gastrodon with a Weavile if you ever want to.

A good team I rate it 9/10 Gastrodon is rather good because the elite may not be able to take it down as only the Champ has got a grass type!

I'll give you a rate once I see the movesets ^_~ Partial move sets are okay too!

Gastrodon is good, but watch out for Flint. His Rapidash has Sunny Day and Solarbeam, so pray that Earthquake (if you have it) will OHKO it. Oh yeah, don't use Surf since it'll do 50% less than it normally would have.

would be better if you had lluxray instead of roselia. luxray can easily wipe out lucian with bite and crunch. and you wouldnt really nead roselia since gastrodon can take care of bertha

Although roserade can be quite good when it is fighting the champ and poisons her pokemon

cynthia has a roserade too. infernape can take care of it and spiritomb. luxray can take care of togekiss and milotic. gastrodon can take care of garchomp. and guardevoir can take care of gastrodon with magical leaf.

I suppose so really you just have a trainer spot as I call it. Use it for a pokmemon to level fast a weak one that cann't fight

Yep but I mostly use them for money. That is the one thing I suggest you do. Get more money!

oh gosh, i've had max money so many times but i dont really have anything to spend it on... i buy like 100 of every pokeball

I realized grass only does a normal effect on Empoleon, but I wanted Infernape. xD

I'll be putting up move sets as soon as I get the moves I want. x]

OMG I finally defeated the Elite Four! In less than 35 minutes. xD (First time with guidance)

In D/P, Cynthia has Gastrodon, but no Togekiss. In Platinum, Cynthia has Togekiss, but no Gastrodon.

Okay, here's the team that I beat E4 with.

Notes:
None of them were holding an item,
I chose chimchar as my starter pokemon,
I used guidance from Serebii.net to help me through the E4.
Unfortunately, I could not teach any of them TM Earthquake or Thunderbolt (excluding gastrodon but I wanted to teach earthquake to snorlax. ;] )
I didn't think of removing the HMs from my team and replace it with better moves.

What are the held items?

Edit:
- Staraptor should take care of Aaron pretty well.

- Gastrodon should be able to take out quite a few of Bertha's ground types with Blizzard and the 2 water moves.

- Gastrodon should also be able to take care of Flint's Pokémon with earthquake/surf

- Having a bug/dark/ghost move might help for Lucian's psychic types. But you might do okay with your Infernape.

- I found that having ice moves helped me move through the elites really quick, so hopefully blizzard words well for you XD

he only prob i see is getting past lucian's psychic types

Yeah, Lucian was pretty tough. I depended a lot on Staraptor's Brave Bird, Gastrodon's Earthquake/Blizzard, Infernape's Flare Blitz/ Fire Blast and a few other strong moves.

For Lucian, I had Infernape learn Shadow Claw and just mowed through his team (with the exception of using different moves on Girafarig of course).

i wont rate it, but anything that has a high level to battle the e4 can just whoop it easily so no need to worry. just stock up on some potions and revives. any quest team is good enough but for wifi forget it try to get strong pokemon.
