So.. Your grandfather believes your not very clever? If that's the case, then you should calmly explain to him that one can not be equal to another. Your an individual being - not a clone of your cousin. :S

Actually, that's a philosophy reason. I believe that everyone is equal in a way and that no one is superior than another. His cousin may read more than him, but that doesn't mean they aren't equal. Everyone excels and sucks at one subject, therefore, we're all equal.

The better choice: Buy it without him knowing it. Who cares if you get in trouble, don't let anyone tell you who you should be.
