Is pokemon the most hacked game?

I was just playing Mario Kart with a friend who hacks, he showed me his games and then he showed me Pokemon. And that's when I asked myself is pokemon the most hacked game?

Well think about it:

People hack pokemon, trainer card stars, gym badges, items, events, money, people clone, walk anywhere cheat and the list goes on...

But what do you think is pokemon the most hacked game? or is there one that's even worse .-.

pokemon is probably the most hacked, doubt that anything is worse :/

I'd say Pokemon is MORE THAN MOSTED HACKED.

It depends on how you're defining 'hacked'.

Are you just asking about the sheer number of people who hack pokemon games compared to any other? Because I know there are more popular games, which would lead me to assume they have more potential hackers.

If you're talking about how much one individual game can be changed with 'hacks'...I'm sure there exist PC games that can have every little detail edited assuming you know coding.

I don't usually see Pokemon DS games where the lands and map sprites are completely changed (unless its edited on the comp) but i don't know if you're counting that as well.

Well, besides the normal cheats, there are also hacked version, Shing Gold hack etc. So yes they are counted and that brings a whole new level to this topic and it is showing that Pokemon is the most hacked game, I'm not sure if they do this sorta thing in mario like PK said, but after you reminded me of things like Shiny Gold hacks etc. I think pokemon steams ahead of mario.

while pokemon has been around longer, i would like to think that SSBB is REALLY catching up to be the most hacked game, if not surpassing pokemon already.

WOW..that looks extremely professional. I love how you can definitely tell what part of the game it's from, and I love the music and stage changes that occur during battle!!

Pokemon is counted in the most definitely hacked games. I have seen lot of hacked version of Pokemon anime games

I think mario ;w;
Many series hacked, include fake GBA games.(like 500 in 1)

But pokémon got many ROM hacked.

I completely agree with you... Because I took a long time when I play this game.. at that time it was no so much hacked game.. Hope this will not be hacked till now..

1) I never hack ever.
2) Pokemon is not the most hacked game as it is mostly played by either kids or people who enjoy spending some time messing around having fun on a computer game. If I'm a hacker why would I hack that? I would hack a game to make money....


So yea no offense but hacking pokemon games is pointless...

Maybe because you haven't been looking hard enough. There's a lot of hacks out there, and the Mario series is especially the hardest and most used.
