Art Contest #17 - Winter Banner

Ok guys, it's time for yet another art contest this one is for the Winter banner, rules are as follows:

816px × 290px
if its slightly wider its ok
but the height should be the same
You don't have to use the ENTIRE space
but the image has to be that big....
Jirachi doesn't have to be used, NO 5th Gen sprites (the deer is the only one allowed).
It has to be snowy themed or Christmas themed.
Make sure it has Dream League Forum on it somewhere
Make sure you check your spelling League has a u in it.(coughgriffincough) =P

Three banners will be pick from this contest, and all three will be in a rotating banner (like we did for Halloween). So you can get 3rd place and still win. ^^

This pick has a 5th gen pokemon that was not allowed, however if this banner wins 1) That 5th gen will be edited out by Clover 2) Loren will just replace it with something else o3o. So SPOILER AlERT. It's just one pokemon though, but that pokemon was not allowed.

I've gotta say i'm with Meap on the winter pokemon from 5th gen, there are some super awesome ones no jokes that'll really suit this theme :\

The only problem with this comp is that it'll be winter for you guys and summer for me, so...... uh.... can i make a summer banner as well? Just to even it out D:

Other than that you can possibly ask me or someone who has seen 5th gen to restrict the pokemon from 5th gen used....

But i would like to enter but with a summer banner .-. though i'll make a winter one for you Americans.

Guys I'm sure there is a lot of 5th Gen pokemon out there that would be perfect for this contest, however this is still a site where some people don't want to see 5th Gen pokemon until the release date. You guys can use the deer one since everyone know about that one. (don't start making posts asking if it's ok to use *insert 5th gen pokemon name here- because those posts will likely be deleted ._.).

@Scepy Do you have GIMP? It's like Photoshop, but free and and it has less features. It's a good alternative though, for those who can't get Photoshop.

I might make a banner... I'll try to find the time ^^

... less features D: It has just as many Gimp is for the strong and photoshop for the weak

Gimp does have about as many features a PS, but it's a WHOLE LOT easier to use. Gimp is good for making things and PS is REALLY good for drawing; Gimp for drawing.... pretty fail. I pretty much mainly use gimp, but if i feel like drawing or coloring a pic, i use PS. And if I ever have a photo to edit... that's what photoshop was made for -3-
