Contest Ribbons~ C&C

Well, I scratch sprited some ribbons for my sprite club contests' winners~

At first, I was having a really hard time with the ribbon part. After a while of failing, I decided to look at an actual ribbon to see how that was done. I tried what I observed and this is the result o3o


Comment and Critique? o3o

Comment: I LOVE THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Critique: Not a lot to say honestly. Maybe the metal part could look more 'shiny' or the line thickness on the ribbon could be a TAD more consistant.

I think people GENERALLY know what needs to be fixed in a piece of art ^_^ It's just...more assuring/helpful (sometimes) to hear from someone else that they see the same thing you are seeing.

I mean, unless the artists is totally arrogant and things everything they produce is golden >_>;

o3o but yeah, the critique helped~ I'll go back to it for the next ribbon

The only lines I was really referring to are the very bottom. They just look a little bit thinner, but honestly I'm just being picky ^_^;

The only thing I would really say is the shininess of the of the medal itself and the lines, like Clover said, and maybe shade the outlines.

The only thing I can see weird about them is that they seem a little dark?

I would try to make the "metal" shinier and the ribbon itself a little brighter.

Better for sure! I usually put the shine somewhere in the middle though. That's just my own preference!!!
