Hello everybody, thought I might as well post this after beating inFamous for the third time. Let's get down to business, because I suck at reviewing stuff. NOTE: I will not explain what the game is about. Good luck =P
Story: 9.0
Generally an interesting, easy to follow story.... until you get to the end of the game. Although the ending has that "Ooooooooh! I get it now! That's why so and so said/did so and so way back in the early parts of the game!" , it just seems a little silly.
Gameplay: 8.5
Whether you're grinding power lines to get around the city or electrocuting baddies, inFamous is always fun and interesting to play. Additionally, the game will coax you into extremely awesome combos with the promise of a trophy. However, the free roaming aspect of the game can get a bit repetitive and dull.
Graphics: 8.5
At first glance, this is an amazing looking game. And actually, it stays that way. That is, until you notice that every inch of the city looks the same. Basically, it looks good, but too much of the same. (I felt like putting that in the graphics section because...... shut up)
Sound: 9.5
An amazing soundtrack with music that seems to mix well with all the sounds of the city. The main character, Cole's, voice could be a bit less Batmanny, but it's still good.
Lasting Appeal: 8.0
It's a pretty long, challenging game, but once you've beaten the campaign, there isn't much to do other than collecting Blast Shards and Dead Drops.
Score: 8.7
ALthough, if I were just to give it a number without going in to all the detail, it would just be 9. It was a very fun game while it lasted. And it lasted a good 20 hours for me.
