How to make banner tutorial(Photoshop 7.0 only)

Banner tutorial
Only for photoshop 7.0!

Okay, i decided to make a banner tutorial, this thread will continue.(sorry for double post later!) this tutorial contains some style to make banner, this thread maybe grow to graphics tutorial thread!

Simple styled Banner
The requirements:
-Brushes
-Render

First
Okay, here is the render i'll use.

I use kasane teto's[(c) UTAUloid]render.

Second
Open your photoshop!

click file->new, the size of the banner will be 430 X 156.

third

Fill with color you want, or gradient it.(color i use is pink, #ff0abd)

Fourth

click the brush tool, the click brushes on right upper screen, Use brushes on it(be sure to use lighter or darker color, so it can be seen!), by the way, the brush set i use is star themed, you can download it at brusheezy!

Fifth
Now, you need to fit the render there, the way to move the render to the banner window is, first, open the render, second use lasso tool, and circle/select area you want to choose, then drag it using move tool to the banner window.


Last/Sixth
the final step is, giving text on it, banner will be not perfect if it does not have text!(use other relating color with the render, or up to you.)the text is use is bellerose, download em at Dafont.

(extra: for you who understand giving effects to font, you also can do effects on it!)

TAHDAH! YOU DONE YOUR BANNER! easy, isn't?

How to make a simple Avatar
Only for photoshop 7.0 or higher, appliable at gimp if you know the concept

requirements
-Render(Big render must be resized!)
-Photoshop 7.0 or higher/GIMP if understand the concept

RENDER USED:


step one
Open you photoshop, click file->new, set the size 100 X 100, then click ok.


step two
After clicking OK, there will be a square box on Photoshop working window. This is the size of the avatar you're making. So anyway, the next step is to put Background pattern on it. you can download Bg patterns at Brusheezy, now, the way to add pattern is, click Edit->fill, change use format to pattern, then, click the custom pattern, select pattern you wish to, then click ok(i'm using "different" pattern).


Step third/LAST
Now, you need to fit the render there, the way to move the render to the banner window is, first, open the render, second use lasso tool, and circle/select area you want to choose, then drag it using move tool to the banner window.

And....YOU DONE YOUR AVATAR! easy isn't it? ;3
now just save it.
