this is a splicing event... and we only had 1 splicing contest before this...

Since this is a splicing event, it would be nice for people who can't splice to be able to participate in something~

Maybe you should make a drawing challenge of some sort?
How about a 5th gen drawing challenge. Person to make the best drawing of a pokemon, person, or place from 5th gen, or all three, or any combination of them, gets a ribbon?

Why not a scratch sprite contest for the best looking 5th gen Pokemon?

It still encompases Friday's idea, but also keeps with the sprite theme.

I think it'd be challenging, but fun :3 then you can make a little group pic with all of them at the end. nyaaa~

That's actually a pretty good idea! But we also JUST had a scratch contest, so...
Well, yeah I like Clover's and mine, maybe we could get a third option? Like recolors for something special or something?

Or even one of those...revamp/devamp things (I forget what they are called) where you re-color an old sprite to make it look new? (or vice versa)

I like that idea, but can we have something that isn't spriting with pokemon? For one, I'm on a new comp and lost all my sprites from my old one, and I'd like to participate in something

...drawing? Maybe we should make a poll guys. The options could be: splicing, drawing, scratching, and revamp/devamp.

We should do a Pokémon ANYTHING competition! You should be able to draw, splice, sprite and more of any Pokémon! Things like chaos, splicings, drawings, devamps, revamps or anything o3o I just wanna make some chao.

That's a goodish idea, but it's just a bit too broad... Maybe if there were separate categories and a winner for each?

Hmmm... we could separate it into categories like that dress up contest we had a long time ago... I like the chao idea~ i've never done one of those before...

There will be time to try all these different kinds of contests eventually! I personally think all of the ideas sound great, even though some conflict with others.
