3ds info and release date

I didnt see another post about this, so If this has been done sorry.
Anyway.

The conference was today and good news came out.

-The 3ds will have a virtual consol, meaning you can download gameboy advance and color ganes.
-Mii stuff built in
-comes with an SD card.
-Comes in 3 colors, orange/black blue/ black and grey/black
- Knewly designed stylist
- can stream TV
-new ar fuction
- New, easier to navigate interface
- Apprently comes with a docking station.

Of course the 3d camera, movie stream, internet, and all that stuff we already know about will be included as well.
For japan it will come out febuary 28, 2011 and for America march 2011.
It will probably be from around $200 to $250 dollars

I still think its worth it

I'm sure we'll be able to play all the GBA and earlier Pokémon games. FIngers crossed for Oracle of Ages/Seasons.

By purple and green, I meant a solid purple 3DS or a solid Green 3DS. I'm still raging about those squirtle color options.

I want the orange one. Last night a friend of mine corrected me and said they wouldnt sell the orange one =/ THEY DID make it for show though

I agree. Nintendo supposedly thinks they know what their fans want, which most of the time is wrong. A lot of fans have been asking Mother 3 in English, but they didn't do it. After the announce of the downloadable games, Nintendo still didn't do anything, even after Kid Icarus. This is an example, but also a powerful example. So all in all, they don't really listen to fans, so whatever.

Sounds interesting, I hope R/S/E remake will be on 3DS instead of NDS. XD

I doubt it. I think I've explained this before, but generation 3 was coming out at the same time as the nintendo ds and all the games after the ds came out were still on the game boy advance, but switched on gen 4 to it.
I don't think any gen 5 games will be for the 3ds, only starting with 6.
I could be wrong, i'm just assuming because of how it's been in the past.

There is a Virtual Console thing-y on the 3DS like the Wii, which will house many retro games - possibly including R/B/Y, G/S/C & R/S/E. This is because there will still be no slot for GBA games. :3
