well think about it. doubles. dark would own all. ghost can die to dark. and poison types can just stall the hell out of things. and certain types wont be able to do much. plus six is more strategy. and the types dont really mesh together in doubles. . . just making points even though its already changed

Darks are going to own in this tournament. I doubt anyone will not use a Dark type since they beat Ghosts and Poisons do nothing against it.

No, you have to use only Dark, Ghosts, and Poisons that are in the Black catagory. You can't use like Tyranitar or Toxicroak. :/

Personally, I prefer singles, but I don't mind doubles. It requires more strategy and more custom making sets in order for full function of the team in both reliability and strengths.
