At www.pandemoniumpoke.deviantart.com I trying to make a visual pokemon guide. What do you think about it. Do see things I need to improve on? I would appreciate any help.

Are you actually going to turn it into a book? Or just leave it as is?

I do like how it has the appearence of someone who is simply documenting their discovery of pokémon in the wild. Very creative Very Happy

Maybe you could make some of the images look like they are photos taped to the page, sort of like a scrap book!

You could draw little feathers or scales from pokémon that are fixed to the page somehow. That'd be kind of cute ^_^ like he just found them on the ground, and wanted to document them.

You could think about animal biology text books when you go about it. They tend to show 4 or 5 different creatures all in one scene, then draw arrows indicating the foodchain, and how the creatures rely on eachother and such.

I don't know how graphic you want to get, but you could show possible bone structures of some pokémon? Just a thought.

Anyway, keep it up :3

Thanks for the ideas! I was thinking of doing a complementary guide that goes over the anatomy and includes examples of fur and things. It would be more realistic than the guide. There just isn't enough space to include those bits. I tried so hard to make them look like photos but I failed epically as I just don't have the knowledge or skill to pull that off yet (so frustrating!). I am now trying to make them look like they were skecthed straight into the book but still have a similar problem. I defiantly will try putting up anatomy pages when I get the time.

Thanks!
