If you are interested in hosting a tournament here in the forum, there are a few things to think about first!

1) Who will participate? - Make sure you run a poll or ask around to see who has the game, and if they have online access or not. You might only be able to get about 5-10 people if the game isn't very popular, so pick wisely.

2) Will you offer prizes? - it's always nice to have a prize of some kind for your contestants. Maybe an in-game item, ad space on a website, or some type of graphical award.

3) What about deadlines? - remember to give people decent time before calling a deadline on a tournament. Give at least a week or two for sign ups, and up to 1 month (depending on how many people there are) for battles/matches to take place.

4) Reminders! - be sure to private message people about who they have to face next in the tournament. Give them a week or so to respond before taking them off of a bracket.

Always remember to post here first before opening up a tournament thread! You can make a poll whenever you'd like if you want to see how many people would be interested in a particular game tournament. Your thread will get stickied if you get at least 7 sign ups.

Have fun~hope this helped! :3

usually you have to swap friend codes with someone for whatever game you are playing online. Each game will give you a different friend code #.

Then, you go to the 'wifi' area that the game provides for you, and you should be able to link up and play with your friend!
