Okay you guys, there seemed to be enough interest in this in the media section, so let's try it out! LET THE DREAM LEAGUE SING-OFF BEGIN!
RULES:
- You can sing any song you'd like (minimal cussing if possible ^_^' You can always post the song title here or PM me if you aren't sure if it's appropriate)
- No voice editing software that makes changes on the natural sound of your voice
- You can have background music or not. Up to you!
- You don't have to sing the WHOLE song, but you need to at least sing a verse so we can get a 'flavor' of your singing style.
- There are karaoke and acoustic versions of most songs on youtube, so go search!
HOW TO COMPETE:
- Record yourself singing one of your favorite songs!
- Post a link to the sound file of your song here, and you'll be added to the contenders list.
- Other members will vote for the top 3 songs.
PRIZES:
- To be determined! (feel free to post suggestions for prizes)
- 1st 2nd and 3rd place ribbons!
DEADLINE:
June 12th (if entries slow down before that date, we can end it early)
This should give you plenty of time to find background music of the song you want to sing, get multiple recordings and practice sessions in, and pick the one you like best.
So warm up your vocal cords, and get going on that song to make it sound just how you want :3 Good luck!
