Okay, I have my team planned out. Might take me a long time to assemble it, but at least I have the idea. It will take absolutely forever for me to get the Absol I want; I've already been through about 50 eggs trying to get it and still nope. it didn't take me as long as it has been for absol as with eevee; that only took around 20 eggs

I would say you might consider going for 2^x number as in 2,4,8,16,32 as then the brackets will look the same and no one will have less or more battles to play.
I would say 8 or maybe 16 as more will probably take a while. (members to gather, battles to be fought)

I didn't battle in ages so probably it isn't a good idea to enter. I can help breeding and RMT-ing if needed.

What if I just added a looser's Bracket to the mix? People would get their second shot...
And as for the team rating, it sounds great I would only say to make sure you do it via PM so team strategies aren't given away ^^

Heya, I'll be up for battle. PM me; and we can arrange some kind of battle. Since I'm deaf, you can use any IM to talk me when battling

I'll be using purely 100% Legit Pokémon. I have Pokésav'd Legit Pokémon (i.e. 2 being shiny, all legit stats, and legit moves) but for this tournment I'll use purely legit Pokémon. Purely legit makes work more worthable, lol.

just sent you a PM! i'm using 100% legit, too. i'll actually be using the team i beat the game with, since i haven't gotten to building a team specifically for this tournament yet. this is pretty exciting.

You trying in a battle with the story pokes? That might have HM's and so on? Hmm ... Doesn't sound ok but you are the captain of the "ship"

what do you mean by story pokes? they've got diverse movesets so i'm not too worried about them.

First time I've seen someone using the term 'Story Pokémon' but I assume he means you'll be using team you used to just beat the story mode of Pokémon main game, i.e. just beat E4 with them. They're not powerful as competitve team, but I'm guessing this tournment will be just for fun so don't worry much about it.

You can re-create same team. I did same thing to my Staraptor, and my new Staraptor kicks ass. Has way more Attack stat with bloody decent speed

Story Pokes - the ones used to progress through the whole story and E4; the ones with HM's unuseful moves and so on ...
For competitive I consider bred Pokemon that have nature, IV's, EV's and if needed egg moves...

i already have gym plans for when i become a gym leader. yes... rather nice plans i think.

My team doesn't feel right without good ol' Blastoise...I really need to stop being lazy and get one. I just don't feel it'd be right just use PokéSav to make him, since he's my favourite Pokémon and I want to make him purely legit 100%.

Also, haven't gotten a battle yet but hopefully tomorrow. Been busy on manage TCG cards (I'm trying to sell off my old cards as well try to finish my Base Set 1, Jungle & Fossil collection >.>)

I'm all antsy for my battle and we haven't even got too many people signed up yet, ha ha!

If I get to go gym, it'll probably be poison-type, since that's my forte... but you never know. I'm happy just to be participating, anyway, and i bet most of us here for the first tourney are gonna at least be registered trainers regardless

And hey, can you ban Pokesav'd Pokemon or what? Since you can give them legit-looking but almost perfect stats and everything, I think that's a little too much cheating for a tournament, to be honest. I dunno, to each their own.

Most of my PokéSav Pokémon only has 2 perfect IVs - others are either 0-5 (unneeded stat) or 25 (stat that's 'needed' but not hugely important), I feel if I just make them all IV perfect'd they won't be fun to use. I only ever use it to save my time when making teams.

But for this tournment, I'm going to dig out my trusty Butterfree/Lanturn/Staraptor which is purely legit. I love these guys. Now I just need to create Blastoise legally without PokéSav, and have Scizor to jump in. Not sure on sixth member.

Sorry to be harsh, but Pokesav is for morons. You can't be proud of a pokemon that you didn't even raise. i have beaten pokesav teams before (*glares at somebody*) and they are not as good as their trainers think they are. I believe in my pokemon. i cheer them on when the going gets tough. i am proud of the pokemon that i have raised since they were itty bitty level ones. i took the time to breed and train my pokemon to their highest potential. i know that i am not the best trainer, but in my heart, i am happy even if i loose. i'm absolutely afraid of entering tournaments at the Pallet Tribune; the people there are much stronger than me. take for example seth, justin-v, and arcanator. they are super strong and they all have much more experience battling. i know that i still have alot to learn, but i just pull through.

may the purest of heart vanquish the foul in this here tournament!

I'm sorry but if I do take things seriously online I would find it offensive that you are calling people morons for using PokéSav. It's not moronic at all; it saves time for others to get Pokémon they want for tournements. Blahblahblahblah people have busy lives and don't have effort blahblahblahblah or even lazy but just wanted fun out of games blahblah

But I don't take things seriously online anyway so I'll let it slide. You have your opinions on PokéSav'd users, and I have my opinions. =P

Although, I don't just create PokéSav team and go LOL I AM BEST TRAINER EVER!!111111one, I create them and LEARN how to use them. For example, I wouldn't have to learn that Swellow is awesome, cause I Pokésavd her to see how "Guts Facade" works well with her. If people use PokéSav and just jump into battle without actually learning their team they WILL get pwned very quickly. Also, thanks to PokéSav, I've learned how to make staller Probopass, which is also fun.

All in all, I agree with this sentence: You can't expect to win unless you take time to LEARN your strengths/weakness. strengths/weakness being your Pokémon, and as long as you are enjoying learning how to use them; it is one step closer to be good trainer.

So in short? I'm fine using PokéSav pokemon, as long as I learn how to use them correctly.

Yeah, I'm cool with Pokesav as long as it's not in a tournament or multiplayer setting that'll give someone an unfair advantage. Haha. It is dang fun to mess with (Bidoof with SKY UPPERCUT :O) and, of course, to mess around with Frontier teams or whatever. As long as hacks aren't used aside from entertaining your own game or in recreational battles, I gotta say they're pretty awesome.

The only thing I won't fight illegal movesets/Stats unless it's for fun, in tournaments it's either 100% legit movesets/stats, be it normal or PokéSav'd.

I'm fine with banning of PokéSav in general though, there's other places for my Swellow anyway c: Now to try get perfect monkey...*grumble grumble ivs suck*
